As winter break comes to an end, here are some things that popped into my head over the past month of break.

"May God give you a rainbow for every storm. A smile for every tear. A promise for every care. and a blessing for every trial. May God give you a faithful friend for every problem that life sends. For every sigh, a sweet song, and an answer to each prayer."

"When life gets to hard to stand, kneel. PRAY"

Tonight i read a passage that i just want to reflect on. I know im not too great at this, but its just some thoughts that i felt like xanga-ing. The passage I read was Matthew 5:14-16

14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Take that into consideration...

I am the light of the world. My light that shines illuminates the city. I am a crucial piece to this picture. I share the knowledge and love that God has given me, therefore illuminating others and them praising our Father. OH how wonderful it would be if the world was so bright. Praise God! for he has given me this opportunity to shine in Epic. Praise God for every week's message. Praise God for all those who come to celebrate His love. Praise God for being our guiding light.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for another wonderful day. I would like to thank you for Frankie who started a small prayer group down in the Encinitas study lounge. I pray that you just allow me to let my feelings flow and to help me through my prayers.

Tonight, I would like to pray for my friends. First off, I would like to pray for Daniel Ching. Currently, his Grandfather is in the hospital, and Daniel told me today that his Grandfather only had about a week to live. I pray that You give his Grandfather strength and hope to fight off death. I also pray that if he does pass away, that you take him into your own two hands and bless him. I pray that if this happens, You lead him through the gates of Heaven. As for Daniel, I pray that You also keep him strong. This guy is like my big brother and he treats me like im his younger brother. He is a great role model to me, and i pray that You just be there to guide him and comfort him in this tough time. I pray that you will open his heart to You, and truely accept You into his life. I pray that you just bless him for the things he has done for me. I thank You for giving me such a friend like Daniel.

Also, I would like to pray for Harrison. Harrison is another brother figure who is always there for me, and at this time in his life, he is feeling mixed feelings about some people. I pray that his problems are solved and there is some sort of compromise between 2 people. I ask that you bless him with Your presence and just guide him through this with your hands as guidence. I also pray that You show him that you are here. He is not necessarily losing faith, but he wants a stronger personal relationship with You Lord.

Lastly, I would like to pray for the other people who are just so lost. I pray that these lost sheep find their way, and that you really work through myself and others to prove that you are here. I pray that You just allow their hearts to open and just really show them how great you are!

Thank you Lord for all that you have given me!

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for a peaceful day. For allowing me to rest until 1:30PM and have relaxing day. Thank you also for the pizza we ate, and the friends that came over tonight.

God, i also would like to pray to you to ask you to watch over my best friend for me. Lord, his grandmother's spirit has been lifted up, and God, i ask you to take her spirit and release her into Heaven. Take care of her God. She was really special to my best friend Kendall, and I ask for you to just be there with her to share the greatness of her life.
God, I also ask you to bless his family. God, i pray that you just open their minds to Heaven and allow them to see that Grandma is going to be okay. Assure them that she is strong, and in a much better place God. God i ask that you give them strength to get through this time, and open their minds to release all of the wonderful memories that they've all shared; remembering the times that they laughed, smiled, and just the times that they were just so happy God.

At this time God, I would like to also thank You for opening my eyes to see that You work in so many ways. To show me that not only in Santa Monica, but also in my heart, you work your magic. I thank you for blessing me with such amazing friends who will hug me at track meets, and who really seem to appreciate me God. I thank you for such an incredible experience in Santa Monica, and thank you for this family that i know and love.

God, just keep Kendall and his family in your hands, as will i keep them in my prayers.
